O Scale Curved Canopy Passenger Station Kit for Model Trains with Lighted Interior

  

Add a stand-out feature to your model railroad with our O scale Curved Canopy Station Kit. This easy to assemble kit includes 6 framing pieces, walls and three pre-printed transparent window frame sheets. Once the basic framework is assembled, the station itself can be designed in several different ways. The station can be fully enclosed using all four wall pieces and transparent end sheets.

Or one or both sides can be left open to allow trains to enter or pass through. The station accommodates two O scale tracks and the openings are high enough to fit any O scale passenger car variation. The walls also feature bus-sized openings that can be left open or filled in with the included doors. The station kit also includes a lighting strut with three LED lights, a fully assembled and decorated newsstand and four passenger benches. Figures and busses shown in the photos are not included.

The canopy assembles in 15 minutes or less in four main steps: 1 Glue together the four main frame pieces. 2 Assemble the center truss and glue to the completed main frame. 3 Place and glue the three support beams across the three center trusses. 4 Glue the roof sheets across the three trusses.

5 Apply the walls as necessary to fit your station application. The finished canopy measures 12 inch wide by 11 long by 8 inch high and will be a dramatic addition to your layout as a passenger platform cover or engine shed.

The design resembles the American Flyer postwar curved canopy but sized to fit O scale tracks and trains. Multiple canopy kits can be set lengthwise to create an even larger building.
